Stewardship at SSM
- Stewardship is the grateful use of God’s gifts for God’s ends – care of the sick, the poor, the hungry, the naked, the foreigner in our land.
- Stewardship is the positive action we take in gratitude for all that God has given to us.
- Stewardship is the recognition that we are not alone in a world governed by our God’s love forever.
We believe that stewardship is part of our calling as a disciple. All we have comes from God. We are called to share what we have been given with God and our neighbors. We do this through joint actions as members of St. Stephen the Martyr (sewing quilts and collecting school supplies for those in need, supporting food pantries, etc) and as individuals at our workplaces and neighborhoods. As a congregation, we commit a significant portion of our offerings to other churches and organizations to support their ministries in our shared witness to God.
Opportunities for spiritual and leadership growth abound at St. Stephen the Martyr. Click the button below to download a copy of the Time & Talent form, now called My Responses to God's Love
